There are many horror movies out there, but we chose the six best. These films received 42% of all votes. The remaining six films were separated by 60 votes. Texas Chainsaw, a low budget slasher directed and produced by Tobe Hooper, was the winner of this poll. The film was loosely based on the novel “Texas Chainsaw” and received an audience vote for the best horror movie.
